Hey there,

I ended up here from some other site looking for a way to grill pork tenderloin. I have to say this was delicious regardless of my errors, but I want to let you know that the recipe is not written correctly! Because too many things did not make sense, I let the video play. I found that the olive oil does not go in with the cumin and pepper for 5 minutes (!!??!). Trusting the recipe I ended up with black crunchy dried up garlic pieces in an overcooked reduction kind of sauce. And, the recipe tells you to put the mojo sauce on the tenderloin before grilling!!! Please fix this, because I really think it's a nice recipe.

Tough to answer that one because local is always best. Near telluride would be James Ranch in Durango, CO. Thanks for the comment and keep the flaps flipn'.

Greetings Bud & Bud's wife! Re: our twitter conversation, I was on the cusp of doing my atypical tenderloin, diced in a soy sauce bath with some kid-friendly seasonings when I was fortunate to be tweeted by @TheChefsWife and pointed in this direction.

I used this recipe, though instead of grilling, I sauteed the pork in the sauce (the Weber is away for the winter!), then served it with some basmati and peas. Nothing too fancy as to appease the kids, but it was DELICIOUS nonetheless.

Next time, I think i'm going to add a bit more garlic and OJ (I sort of fudged the measurements, artistic license?)... But otherwise, it was a very tasty replacement for "the usual"...

THANK YOU!

I totally posted my thoughts on another page. You can tell I'm a newbie, but anyway... I really enjoyed your show. Your recipes are easy for me to follow and look so good. My husband and toddler both loved the chicken recipe from last week and we're looking forward to trying this one soon. :)
