One of my favorite ways to use frozen berries is in fruit smoothie recipes. Smoothies are a simple way to get my kids to consume lots of great nutrients in one go. I start off with some ice and about 1/4 cup of apple juice. Then I add a banana, a handful of frozen blueberries and strawberries, 1/2 cup plain yogurt and 2 TBSPS of whey protein. I use my much loved immersion blender to mix the whole thing into a creamy drink that I know my kids will devour.
