Cooking Dinner for Friends

Tonight we had a small dinner party with some good friends. Dinner was delicious and the company was great! A couple of bottles of wine followed by after-dinner espresso complimented the meal perfectly.

We started off with some scooby snacks laid out on the bar for everyone to munch on as they arrived:



Steamed Artichokes with Candied Ginger Aioli
Baked Brie en Croute with Plum Preserves and Toasted Pinenuts
Basil Pesto with a crusty Baguette

Dinner Menu:

Whole Roasted Beef Tenderloin
Caramelized Onion and Oyster Mushrooms in Red Wine
Sauteed Zucchini Squash
Roasted Root Vegetables: parsnips, carrots, yams, potatoes and whole garlic
